SMALL INCISION CATARACT SURGERY (SICS)

DURATION	3 Months
LOCATION	Eye Foundation Community Hospital Ijebu-Imushin, Ogun State
ANNUAL SLOTS	3 Slots available per annum and a maximum of 2 candidates per slot
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES/LEARNING OUTCOMES	The trainee: 1. Will gain some experience in outreaches as they will be involved in outreaches. 2. Will learn more on all aspects of clinical diagnosis. 3. Depending on skill set will perform live surgeries.
WHO CAN APPLY	Ophthalmologist or Resident doctors training in Ophthalmology

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS	Applicant must be a fellow of FWACS or FMCOph or MWACS or DO or from an accredited college of surgeons or its equivalent in country of origin All Foreign nationals are required to obtain a temporary registration of license with the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria
