RETINA
LASER is treatment modality using radiations of certain molecules after they have amplified by light. It a treatment use to strengthen the retina, close retinal tears, and reduce the growth of abnormal retinal vessels in different eye conditions. When indicated your doctor will discuss the reason and the expected beneficial effect the treatment. LASER treatment can last between 15 minutes to 1 hour, and the patient can go home after treatment on a topical analgesic. Retinal LASER is safe in all age-groups from the new-born to the elderly patient.
